We understand and have experienced the struggle to find quality and committed staff and are here to help. Sussana Skinner is the owner and founder of Matchup Recruitment and has over 25 years’ experience in the Childcare industry.
Our vision is to provide a service whereby we match childcare centres with high quality staff. We strongly feel that by listening to our clients and understanding their needs that we will find the right people for their team. In turn we will be assisting educators and teachers with fulfilling their dreams of finding a rewarding role within the Early Childhood Education sector.

Sussana is a qualified early childhood teacher herself for over 25 years. She has worked in various type of early childhood setting, started out as a childcare assistant then becoming an early childhood teacher/ room leader before leading teams of early childhood educators as a centre director for other organisations. In the midst of her early childhood career with other organisations she has had the experience in teaching Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. She then ventured out to start her own childcare centres where she leads several teams of early childhood professionals with a quest of providing quality care and education to young children. As her belief is that children deserve the best early start to their life and education.
Throughout the years of experience in recruiting staff for her own services, she noted a strong need for genuine help to employers to find quality staff without having to spend so much time and suffer the headaches in recruiting new staff and to retain that quality staff. That is having a recruitment service that understands what employers go through and the need for long term quality staff for a quality early childhood service- and is affordable.
Having been an employee as an educator herself, Sussana understands what skills and qualities a passionate and committed educator must possess and looks for in an early childhood service to work in.

Rhiarna is a qualified early childhood educator, who has worked in the industry for over 7 years. Rhiarna has worked in various roles in the childhood sector, she started out as a certificate III educators assistant and then grew in her role to become a room leader. Rhiarna continued to develop her professional career in childcare by completing her diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. This enhances her knowledge and skill as a room leader role which soon allowed her to grow within the company and take on more major roles.
Rhiarna took on interim director roles, giving support to the owner and directors allowing smooth transitions for the services.
Throughout the years Rhiarna found her own philosophy when it comes to supporting children’s development and wellbeing. Rhiarna decided that she can be of support to other educators and directors in this industry and hence taking on the consulting and recruitment role for Matchup Recruitment.
